There are two main methods for cleaning asphalt tanks: dry cleaning and wet cleaning:
1. Dry cleaning method
1. Drain the oil in the tank;
2. Ventilate the oil and gas in the tank and make sure that the oil and gas concentration is within a safe range;
3. Personnel enter the tank to clean the oil, water and other sediments;
4. Do not use a saw for dry cleaning;
5. Do not use a saw, use copper tools to remove local corrosion;
6. Clean thoroughly with a mop;
7. Check the quality of dry cleaning;
2. Wet cleaning method
1. Drain the oil in the tank;
2. Ventilate and remove the oil and gas in the tank, and measure the concentration of the oil and gas within a safe range;
3. Individuals enter the tank to clean the oil, water and other sediments;
4. Rinse the oil and rust in the tank with 290~490kpa high-pressure water;
5. Eliminate waste water as soon as possible and wipe it dry with a mop;
