Custom Manufacturing and System Integration for Asphalt and Bitumen Equipment
Manufacturing asphalt and bitumen equipment requires coordinated engineering, steel fabrication, mechanical assembly, heating systems, material handling, and electrical control integration. Equipment configuration must match the required production capacity, material characteristics, site conditions, and project specifications.
Equipment Manufacturing Scope
Asphalt Mixing Plants
Batch and Continuous Configurations
Equipment configuration is based on required production capacity, aggregate characteristics, mixing process, heating requirements, fuel availability, and automation needs.
Integrated Production Systems
Key systems may include aggregate feeding, drying and heating, screening, mixing, bitumen supply, dust collection, and electrical controls, depending on plant type and configuration.
Bitumen Storage Tanks
Storage Capacity and Tank Configuration
Tank dimensions, horizontal or vertical arrangement, working capacity, and connection locations are determined by storage requirements and site layout.
Heating and Temperature Control
Available configurations may include thermal oil heating, direct-fired heating, or electric heating, subject to tank design and project requirements. Insulation, external cladding, temperature monitoring, and heated piping can be specified as required.
Asphalt Distributor Trucks
Spray System Configuration
Tank capacity, spray bar width, nozzle arrangement, pumping system, and application-rate controls are selected according to the intended road surface treatment.
Vehicle and Control Integration
Chassis selection, power supply, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, and spray control configuration are confirmed according to operating requirements and destination-market regulations.
Bitumen Emulsification Equipment
Process Capacity and Formulation Requirements
Production capacity, bitumen and water feed rates, emulsifier dosing, and target emulsion specifications determine the process configuration.
Mixing and Emulsification System
A high-shear colloid mill, metering equipment, pumps, and temperature-control components may be integrated according to the required formulation and production process.

Manufacturing and Assembly Process
Material Preparation and Verification
Incoming steel plates, structural sections, and purchased components are checked against the applicable material specifications and approved drawings. Material certificates are reviewed where required by the purchase specification.
Steel Fabrication and Welding
Fabrication may include plate cutting, edge preparation, rolling, structural assembly, and welding. Welding procedures, personnel qualifications, and inspection requirements are established according to the applicable design code and project specifications.
Mechanical Assembly
Pumps, valves, heating coils, pipelines, agitators, drive systems, and other components are installed according to approved drawings and equipment layouts. Alignment, connections, accessibility, and maintenance requirements are reviewed during assembly.
Electrical and Control Integration
Control cabinets, motors, sensors, instrumentation, and safety circuits are installed and checked against the approved electrical diagrams. PLC and HMI functions are configured according to the agreed operating sequence.
Pre-Delivery Inspection
Before testing and dispatch, the equipment is reviewed for assembly completeness, connection integrity, mechanical alignment, electrical continuity, guarding, and other applicable inspection requirements.
Quality Control and Factory Acceptance Testing
Inspection and testing requirements are established according to the equipment type, design specifications, applicable standards, and agreed acceptance plan.
Material and Component Inspection
Material grades, dimensions, purchased components, and relevant certificates are checked against the approved specifications.
01
Weld and Structural Inspection
Welds and structural components undergo visual inspection. Non-destructive testing, including ultrasonic, radiographic, or penetrant testing, may be specified for applicable joints and components according to the inspection plan.
02
Pressure and Leakage Testing
Tanks, heating coils, jacketed pipelines, and other systems are tested where applicable. Test methods, pressures, procedures, and acceptance criteria depend on the component design and governing requirements.
03
Electrical and Safety Checks
Electrical inspection may include insulation resistance, wiring continuity, sensor checks, emergency-stop functions, alarm verification, and interlock testing.
04
Functional Testing and FAT
Factory acceptance testing can include agreed operating-sequence checks, pump operation, burner control checks where applicable, temperature-control response, instrumentation verification, and other functional tests.
05
Export Logistics and Technical Documentation
Transport Planning
Equipment dimensions, component weights, lifting arrangements, and disassembly requirements are reviewed to prepare a suitable transport plan. Containerized, modular, or flat-rack shipping arrangements depend on the equipment dimensions and shipping constraints.
Seaworthy Packaging
Packaging methods may include protective wrapping, moisture protection, anti-corrosion measures, component labeling, and secured supports, depending on the equipment and transportation conditions.
Technical Documentation
Documentation can be agreed before order confirmation and may include:
General arrangement and foundation drawings
Electrical schematics and connection diagrams
Operating and maintenance manuals
Applicable material certificates
Inspection and test reports
Packing lists and shipping documentation
Recommended spare parts lists
The availability of each document depends on the equipment configuration, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.
Installation, Commissioning and After-Sales Support
Site Preparation
Foundation requirements, equipment layout, power supply, utility connections, and installation interfaces should be reviewed before shipment.
Operator Training
Training can cover operating procedures, control settings, routine maintenance, safety precautions, and basic fault diagnosis according to the equipment supplied.
Installation and Commissioning
Technical assistance may be provided remotely or through on-site service arrangements, subject to project scope, location, and agreed service terms. Commissioning activities depend on equipment type and installation conditions.
Spare Parts and Maintenance
Recommended spare parts can be identified according to the equipment configuration and expected maintenance requirements. Spare parts lists, replacement procedures, and maintenance schedules can be included in the agreed documentation package.
