Routine maintenance of rubber asphalt equipment should be categorized by core components, with a focus on the heating, mixing, and conveying systems. Proper maintenance can prevent equipment malfunctions from affecting production and extend the overall lifespan of the machine.
The heating system should be inspected daily. Before use, check the heating element surface for asphalt residue; if present, clean it promptly to prevent residue from caking and affecting heating efficiency. Check the temperature control sensor for sensitivity to prevent temperature runaway and asphalt carbonization. After each day's use, turn off the heating switch and wait for the temperature to drop below 100℃ before turning off the main power to prevent damage to the heating elements due to sudden cooling.
The mixing tank requires regular cleaning and inspection. After weekly shutdown, open the drain port at the bottom of the tank and clean out any remaining rubber particles and asphalt residue to prevent blockage of the discharge port. Check the mixing blades for wear or deformation; if the blade gaps widen, it will affect mixing uniformity, requiring timely adjustment or replacement. Generally, check blade wear every 3 months.
The conveying system maintenance focuses on the pipelines and pump body. After each use, flush the conveying pipeline with heat transfer oil or diesel fuel to prevent asphalt from solidifying inside. Check the seals of the conveying pump for leaks; if any are found, replace the seals immediately to avoid material waste and equipment corrosion.
Additionally, perform a monthly lubrication maintenance on the rubber asphalt equipment. Add lubricating oil to rotating parts such as the mixing shaft and conveying pump bearings. The amount of oil added must be according to the equipment manual; too much or too little will affect the operation of the components. During maintenance, be aware that rubber asphalt is corrosive; wipe the parts dry promptly after cleaning to prevent residual liquid from contacting the equipment casing and causing rust.
