The Asphalt Rubber Blending Unit is a professional road construction machine developed for the industrialized and standardized production of rubber-modified asphalt. Unlike conventional asphalt mixing equipment, it specializes in the physical modification and chemical fusion of rubber powder and base asphalt, serving as the core equipment in the green road construction system. Abandoning traditional simple mixing modes, it adopts five core technologies: precise batching, thermal oil constant-temperature heating, multi-stage high-speed shearing, closed-loop swelling reaction and intelligent automatic control. This thoroughly resolves common industrial defects of rubber asphalt, including delamination, insufficient swelling, uneven proportioning and unstable performance.
The unit adopts an integrated modular frame structure and incorporates six core functional modules: an automatic rubber powder batching system, asphalt conveying and metering system, high-temperature heating and heat exchange system, multi-stage shearing and stirring reaction kettle, constant-temperature storage system and PLC intelligent electric control system. All modules operate synergistically and support independent control. The batching system enables accurate dynamic proportioning of rubber powder, base asphalt and modified additives with errors within industrial standard ranges. The heating system adopts a closed-loop thermal oil heating method featuring uniform temperature rise and precise thermostat control. It stably maintains the optimal reaction temperature of 180℃ to 190℃ for rubber asphalt, preventing asphalt aging caused by local overheating and inadequate swelling caused by low temperatures.
It follows a scientific and standardized working procedure. During production, base asphalt is accurately delivered to the reaction kettle and preheated to the specified process temperature. Ground rubber powder recycled from waste tires and special modified additives are then automatically added in precise proportions. Through turbulent stirring generated by double-layer blades and micron-level shearing from the high-speed shearing mechanism, agglomerated rubber powder particles are fully dispersed and penetrate evenly into the asphalt colloid. After constant-temperature high-temperature swelling and reaction, rubber particles complete sufficient oil absorption, expansion and cross-linking modification, ultimately forming finished rubber asphalt with uniform performance, excellent stability and strong adhesion.
Equipped with an intelligent human-computer interaction system, the unit supports parameter presetting, automatic operation, data recording and fault self-diagnosis. It monitors core production parameters in real time, including temperature, proportion ratio, stirring speed and shearing frequency, realizing standardized and unmanned production. With a compact structure and easy disassembly and transportation, it is suitable for large-scale fixed factory production and mobile on-site construction. While enabling the recycling of waste rubber resources, it delivers superior engineering and environmental benefits, and is widely applicable to rubber asphalt production for highways, municipal roads, bridges and waterproofing projects of all types.
